This post is again a couple of weeks late. The babes turned 10 months old on February 22, 2018.
New things this month: major improvements on pincher grasp and eating skills (which come hand in hand… haha). They tried straight lemons and liked it!
We watched a lot of Olympics (especially curling). I was #olympicobsessed
Ewan is a machine. He is super fast at crawling and has started pulling himself up on ledges.
Both Eileen and Ewan had bad diaper rash this month, but four days in a row of bare bumming it cleared the rash right up.
I’ve noticed Eileen uses her pointer finger and Ewan uses an open palm hand to explore the area and objects around them. Eileen has learned to click her tongue on the roof of her mouth which brings her a lot of entertainment.
They like to explore each other’s hands while breastfeeding, they also try and scratch off my freckles (this started a couple months ago – it’s so adorable). This month Eileen bit my nipple and drew blood! My nipple is all healed now and we continue to breastfeed.
They both have two teeth on the bottom with more coming in.
Eileen patiently waits for me to attend to Ewan first (he usually demands it) but she impatiently waits for me to serve her food. Ewan is still unbelievably cuddly.
Kyle went to Toronto in February for work. The babes and I decided to stay home, my mom came for the week to help out.
We play a lot in their bedroom, which I use a baby gate keep Ewan in (it’s their gated community). This sometimes angers Ewan
Eileen and Ewan are sooooo cute and growing quickly. Is Eileen crawling yet?
Thanks Heather!! No, Eileen isn’t crawling yet. She is very skilled at backward crawling though.
